Abstract

Vun-Sin Lim, PhD, is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology (JTO), the official journal of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). Previously, she managed the IASLC open access journal, JTO Clinical and Research Reports (JTO CRR). She has extensive research experience in cancer drug discovery and development and a strong interest in scientific communication. Before joining IASLC, she worked on novel treatments for solid tumors and leukemia at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and in early-phase clinical trials at Mayo Clinic.


Vun-Sin is currently Vice Chair of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE) Asia Pacific Advisory Council and has chaired virtual events on artificial intelligence in peer review and research integrity for scholarly publishing professionals across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the United States. She has served as faculty and primary coordinator of the IASLC Reviewer Workshop since its inception in 2021.
