The Spring 2026 issue of AMWA Journal is dedicated to exploring trends and opportunities in medical communication, as presented and discussed at the 2025 AMWA Medical Writing & Communication Conference in November in Phoenix, Arizona.
In the current issue, we provide results of the 2025 AMWA generative AI member survey, address coming out of a career break, and provide a medical writer’s guide to non-clinical publications, among other topics.
In subsequent issues this year, the themes will be the Present and Future of AI in Medical Communication (Summer 2026), Peer Review (Fall 2026), and Inclusive Language (Winter 2026).
